We only use milk from local Tennessee dairies. This ensures we have the highest quality milk while supporting our local food system!

Taylor loves crafting unique flavors from regional ingredients such as sweet honeysuckle, tropical paw-paw, or tangy buttermilk.

Our Founder
Taylor Ussery has spent her life knee-deep in local food—literally. From working on produce farms in college, to helping launch a gelato program that kept a family dairy thriving, to her work today connecting small farms with bigger markets, Taylor’s career has always been about linking food and people. With Dogwood Acres Dairy, she gets to bring it all full circle: creativity, community, and a cup (or two) of joy.
Dogwood Acres Dairy began as Taylor’s side project while she continues her full-time job in Nashville. From the start, it’s been about community—donating, connecting, and bringing people together over ice cream that makes you stop mid-bite and say, “Wait … this is amazing!”
